So Sidekick actually messed up my order and made me wait about 30 minutes today. So why the five stars? The person in charge did a good job of handling my issue/mixup, so while I hope they work on how they handle online orders during busy times, I appreciated the human element to make things right.

I love this place! My favorite spot to grab some sweet treats. Everything there is so unique and creative. Special shout-out to Chris for being super attentive, kind, and helpful with the menu! I definitely recommend this place.

Awesome staff, you are appreciated! The most satisfying vegan & gluten free chocolate chip cookie. I drink my coffee black, so I can identify the quality in coffee and this is by far one of the best tasting. Thank you.

I really love Sidekick! It is so fun that Ted's opened this little bakery (attached to the restaurant!) as a casual cafe option. I love meeting friends here and have felt safe during the pandemic dining outdoors. They keep their space very clean and follow all protocols. Their food is DELICIOUS and so is their coffee! So many fun options on the menu. Highly recommend!

Thank you to Barbara for going above and beyond! I had been waiting about ten minutes for my takeout order, and she could tell I was in a hurry. She apologized for the wait and then went to check with the chefs even though she was busy. Her sympathetic attitude and kindness made my day. Also, the breakfast sliders and blueberry cheesecake tart she recommended were delicious!

I don't think y'all understand...I'm obsessed! I also have a sweet tooth like non-other. I admire it when bakeries get creative & Sidekick bakery does a snazzy job when incorporating some time-old classics into their desserts and pastries alike. To get my sugar rush fix, I always make it a point to go by Sidekick to get myself something, ANYTHING! Whether that be one of the handmade pop tarts, a petit cake, or a brownie slice. It's all good! Don't believe me? Here are photos from each time I visited the extended bakery at Ted's Bulletin. I'll admit these croissants filled with soft-served ice cream was an unexpected twist for me and I lo-key like it. Part of me wished it could’ve been filled with chocolate soft served. There's only so much time before your croissant will begin to leak of sorts. So I suggest you dig in quickly. I admire it when bakeries get creative & Sidekick bakery does a snazzy job when incorporating some time-old classics into their desserts and pastries alike. I didn’t get to try the funfetti pound cake (?) or the cinnamon toast banana bread. Those belonged to my parents.

Sidekick is a cozy, vibrant bakery and coffee shop in Ted's Bulletin in Arlington. They offer a variety of baked goods and coffee beverages, including Ted's tarts, cakes, cookies, muffins, croissants, banana bread, danishes, bars, savory brioches, toasts, and frozen food items, gourmet coffee, and teas. As soon as you enter, you'll be greeted by the lovely aroma of freshly baked goods. Its branding is visible everywhere, and I like how it's used throughout the shop, including on tissue paper, paper cups, and packaging. The coffee and sweets are excellent, making it the perfect spot to enjoy or grab and go in the afternoon.

Came here after Punch Bowl Social and I was so impressed and overwhelmed at the same time. This spot was like dessert heaven. The inside is really small. Cookies and cream milkshake was to die for. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch muffin was crazy flavorful. It was like the cereal bar plus a little Debbie snack all in one. Blueberry muffin was light and airy. I asked them to warm it up and it was like perfection. Definitely a dope bakery to check out!!
